Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By accessing veritasvpn.cloud, creating an account, downloading our software, or connecting to our VPN, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service (early stage)
VeritasVPN provides encrypted VPN connectivity (primarily WireGuard), account management, and related clients. The service is under active development. Availability, server locations, features, and performance may change without notice. Marketing pages describe current capability honestly; roadmap items are labeled as planned where applicable.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and session tokens.
- Anonymous accounts are allowed; you remain responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use VeritasVPN to:
- Violate applicable law
- Distribute malware, run DDoS attacks, or scan/attack third-party systems
- Spam, phish, or commit fraud
- Interfere with or reverse-engineer our infrastructure in a harmful way
- Resell access without our written permission
We may investigate abuse reports and cooperate with lawful requests as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Payments
Paid plans (when offered) are processed via Bitcoin or other methods we announce. Crypto payments are generally final once confirmed on-chain. Plan features available today may differ from future roadmaps; we will not promise features we have not shipped.
6. Software license
Client and server source code is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (see the LICENSE in our repository), unless a file states otherwise. These Terms do not expand or replace that software license.
7. No warranty
THE SERVICE AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or completely anonymous use.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERITASVPN AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VeritasVPN and its contributors from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms or law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, abuse, non-payment, or operational necessity. Provisions that by nature should survive (liability, indemnity, license acknowledgements) survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise. Venue for disputes will be determined accordingly, subject to those protections.
